RA is an inflammatory disease that is usually starts to show up i the joints. and like it does in adults it will start to destroy cartilage which in turn will lead to chemicals being produced that will lead to more damage to tendons ligaments and bone, RA can also damage many other parts of the body including the brain lungs eyes heart and vascular/ arterial systems.
