Are humans territorial

Answers:
I would say that yes, they are. Consider the following facts of human historical activity:

- Governments will take over the territories of other humans to exploit the resources found on those territories. Huge battles over these areas of land soon follow.
- Teenage street gangs and drug dealers typically will shoot and kill one another over moving-in on one another's "turf" in different parts of the neighborhood.
- People build fences around their properties to keep others out
- Kids throw a fit if their parents invade their privacy and start rummaging through their things when away
- Even corporate environments are highly secure and divided into private properties, security check points, locks, passwords, and all sorts of other mediums by which some are kept in and others are kept out

So, an astounding YES, humans are incredibly territorial. More than any other species on the face of the planet earth.
